CHELSEA, MI — Famous actor Jeff Daniels wasn’t interested in a celebrity restaurant — but add a music venue in Chelsea, located west of Ann Arbor, and he was on board.

JD’s Stage Bistro is now open and celebrating its grand opening on Main Street in the Primetime Emmy Award-winning actor’s hometown. The new business is a two-for-one, featuring a casual bistro with a locally sourced, seasonal revolving menu and an intimate listening room-style live music venue that has a totally different feel.
