Lansing State Journal – Jeff Daniels Performance To Aid Sun Theatre

GRAND LEDGE — Actor Jeff Daniels is a big fan of small theaters. As a happy coincidence to that, his upcoming performance in Grand Ledge, Aug. 15 at 8 p.m., will aid the downtown Sun Theatre in converting to a digital format.

It is the second time Daniels has helped the Sun.

Daniels brought his one-man show to Grand Ledge in February, 2011, entertaining the audience with two hours of stories and songs, and in the process raising money to replace the 1930s era marquee on the Sun.

In 1976, I bought a Guild D-40 from Herb David’s Guitar Studio in Ann Arbor, Michigan, threw it in the back of my old Buick, and moved to New York City.
